Arab DMA DEFINITION

The Arab Direct Marketing Association (Arab DMA) is an organization that provides a “big tent” for all different players within the direct marketing to provide benefits such as advocacy, reputation management, networking, education and research.

Arab DMA is a unified direct marketing community – a large, economically significant cross-section of business and nonprofit segments that spans every industry and category and touches every communications channel and media option.

Arab DMA, " the big tent with room for all" consists of members representing all types of marketing in all vertical industries, such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, publishing, travel and hospitality. Arab DMA members represent users and providers of every channel of direct communication including all new digital channels. Many and varied services, specialties, and suppliers make up the entire direct marketing supply chain, from data compilers and list providers, printers and mailers, to analytics services, search specialists, and digital production agencies that tie this all together. The association provides a multitude of networking opportunities, through a rich array of conferences, exhibitions and other events. Direct marketing education programs, reports, different industry-specific researches culled from Association’s extensive market intelligence program.

The association will be dedicated to serve all organizations that use or support direct marketing for the benefit of all with developed advocacy, corporate and social responsibility, education, networking, and research services to serve its members and the great direct marketing community

Conversion zone is the sweet spot where marketers, suppliers and end customers meet in a market space often influenced by public policy. Our mission is to create and develop the zone where marketers, suppliers and end customers meet in a market space – worth over a trillion dollars in sales and donations, enjoyed by a majority of Arab Adult Population while by making it attractive to both participants and none participant.

2. Arab Direct Mail & Marketing Forum (ADMMF'09) Announcements, April 2009:

The April 2009 event has turned to be a venue for historic announcements such as:

  1. Launch of Arab Direct Marketing Association (Arab DMA); as the only Direct Marketing Authority in the Pan Arab world covering 22 countries, an outcome of partnership with Direct Marketing Association of America (DMA).
  2. Creation of DM Park in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia by Emaar, with the support of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (Sagia).
  3. ‘The Power of Postal Address’, Saudi Post and Emaar has signed for the implementation of postal address system in King Abdullah economic city.
  4. Commitment of Arab Postal Operators to develop Direct Mail and Marketing industry through Arab DMA in Arab region.
  5. Launch of the DM Center of Excellence supported by Universal Postal Union (UPU).
